Sins of the Spirit, Blessings of the Flesh: Lessons for Transforming Evil in Soul and Society
Dr. Scott Peck has said that we are still at a “primitive stage” in our language about evil. This book attempts a renaming and recontextualizing of Evil based first on healing the split between spirit and matter (the put-down of “flesh” and turning flesh into a scapegoat for evil can be healed by the new cosmology that teaches us how sacred and connected and rare flesh is in the universe) and by invoking the 7 chakras of the East along side the 7 capital sins of the West.
